NACSE has been in the IT Education, Standards & Credentialing business for over 15 years. NACSE is non-profit as well as being vendor neutral. We believe that a vendor neutral foundation in IT training is essential to have a valid foundation. We have seen many changes over those years. Unlike some other industries, the technology industry (both hardware and software and related support services) are in a constant state of rapid change. Keeping current with those changes as well as addressing a world of legacy systems is a daunting challenge for everyone in IT. Certifications, the industries attempt at some standardization and measurement has fallen well short of its intended objectives. Even then, try getting an IT job without some kind of credentials. However, most in the industry know that we need more than just academic knowledge.
