Discussions go on constantly about the value of Certifications. This definition starts to oultine the meaning and purpose of credentialing of any kind.

Another view of IT Certifications, 2007. In response to a number of recent, negative articles concerning the value or non-value of today’s IT Certifications, several NACSE members have responded to these comments and taken a slightly different tack on that situation. They start by putting the focus on what they view as the true problems with Certifications instead of re-hashing the issues we have been hearing for the last 20 years.
