NACSE has developed a new set of guidelines and standards that address the knowledge, skill and experience base needed to be identified as an IT Professional. In the past, the IT industry has only addressed the Academic side of training and education in IT. Sadly, that is only half the job. NACSE has announced the “First set of IT credentials that recognize both academic knowledge AND hands-on, real world experience.” Both the IT person, and the IT employer, will have a far better set of tools and guidelines necessary to build a career or hire the right person for the job.
